Evolution

Established in 2017 by Nicasa, the Mundelein STAND-UP Task Force was formed to address the growing concerns of underage drinking and substance use among local youth.

Initially funded by a 10-year Drug-Free Communities grant, the task force continues its vital work with the support of a Community Youth Services grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services. The focus now extends to preventing violence, delinquency, and other risky behaviors among youth.

STAND-UP Mundelein’s Mission
