Nicasa Collaborations

Recently Nicasa has had the pleasure of collaborating with four different organizations.

Jail High Utilizer Program in collaboration with the Lake County Sheriff and Lake County Health Department. The goal of this program is to divert and better serve individuals with behavioral health issues who were cycling through the system.

Act Recover Change Hope (ARCH) is a free program in collaboration with PADS Lake County. Offers a connection to stable, permanent housing, behavioral health treatment, peer recovery support services, and employment assistance to individuals and families with serious mental illness or co-occurring disorders (mental health, substance abuse, and/or developmental disabilities) and are homeless or are at risk of homelessness.

Nicasa is also a part of Lake County opioid initiative A Way Out Program. This programs ensures that no criminal charges will be sought for the individual that may be in possession of narcotics or paraphernalia, as long as assistance is sought out by the prospective program participant.

TREE this program provides a free netbook to complete online learning components and offers reduced co-pays for behavioral health treatment received at Nicasa. It offers comprehensive treatment, early intervention, and recovery support services to Transitional Age Youth (18-25 years old) with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, and their families/caregivers.
